3. Keep it Cheap. And light

One of the most common mistakes that beginners make is to buy an expensive guitar. You might think that it’s worth the investment and you’ll get better faster, but this isn’t always true. There are many guitars on the market, and you don’t need to spend a lot of money to find one that’s right for you.

You can find a good beginner guitar for less than $100, and it will be easier to learn on. If you’re just starting out with guitar lessons, there are plenty of affordable options available in stores or online.

The weight of your guitar is also something you should consider: A heavy guitar can be tiring to play and will cause fatigue in your hands, arms, back and legs (if you’re playing while sitting down). This can lead to a lack of motivation to practice or perform. A light guitar will not tire you out as quickly as a heavier one would. This means that you can practice for longer periods of time without feeling fatigued or soreness.
